They Want Me To Get A Job

Everybody in the world knows what it means to "work" or to "go to work"... right? People in the US grow up being told to get a job or to find a job. Why get a job? Because we all know that will make us some money. Guess what? that's true. You know what else is true? You can make money a million different ways too!


Now, why do you want money? So you can buy what you want and pay bills. Pretty simple reason right? Well there is an even simpler reason why you want money. You want money so you can be happy. If your working a job to get money (not because you love the job) you are working to get money to be happy, period.



Now lets look at what other people do. Other people are the ones that are successful with money and what they do. The people who have more then enough money, the ones who do what they love for a living. These people started off first answering the question "What do I really want?" and they all answered: Happiness. These people are a little more wise then the average and they tend to be really wealthy people.


So what? Whats the difference between those who have a job and those who do what they love? The ones who do what they love, are happy. The ones who go to work for money are trying to be happy. If you don't love your job, you are probably really good at trying or pretending to be happy. Your not happy, your always on your way to becoming happy. That's what happens when your only working to get money.


Now, I am not saying getting a job is an evil thing. All I'm saying is this: What do you really want? I encourage you to focus on what you love to do. Music, songwriting, mixing, recording... Whatever it is that you would do anytime for free is what you love to do.


Now you may say, but I can get money doing what I love!. Say that over and over to yourself about 10 times. Can you start to feel something in you that is trying to scream out - Yes you can! Well if you can't then let me scream at you... YES YOU CAN!

Whoever is telling you to get a job, ignore them. You found a place where you can learn how to make money doing what you love instead of working for money.


Let me emind you, getting a job is not an evil thing ONLY if your getting a job and you have a plan to use the money to invest into what you love to do. Make what you love into a business. If you are working for money, that is not a good thing! If you are working for money so that you can invest into what you love, that is a good thing!


Forget what "they" want you to do. First make the decision to want to be happy more then anything. Then think to yourself, can I USE a job right now? Can I use the job to get money to invest in a better way of making money? Third, make the final decision. Decide whether or not if you want a job. 


If you don't want a job, you have to start working for yourself. Start learning what you need to learn to start making money doing what you love. Getting knowledge is 10x more powerful then getting a job. But remember and understand this, and this is not a bad thing, If you are not going to get a job you still need to work. Instead of working for someone else, you will be working for yourself. Don't be lazy. You still need to take action even without a job to start living off music.
